The windscreen washers on my 2002 model hit the wiper arms. The manual does not tell me how to adjust them and looking at the jets I can’t see how either. There seems to be a sort of lug sticking out from the jet area but nothing that adjusts them.
Can any tell me if it adjustable and how please??
Regards.

Stick a pin in the hole and (gently) move it? They're normally a little ball-joint arrangement so you can adjust the angle of the jet this way.

MarkE,
I am familiar with that type. These jets are more like an elongated slot. There is nowhere for a pin to go, and there does not look to be any type ball joint flexibilty.
Thanks.

If you have the later style fan jets ? then the lug sticking out is the adjuster, also you need to use the correct washer fluid or it could lead to the early demise and replacement of the jets :( the fluid you should really use is available from VW and isnt that dear, and its good stuff :)

Ummmm - must be very stiff then cos I have tried a little ;) pressure on that. Must try harder (as they say).

Just a little - coz too much and then  Well lets say mine have been changed once !!!
I have also noted that if I put too much screen wash in (so the mix is strong) then the fan spray is poor...
Nice spray 75% of the time..
