View Full Version : bulb replacement
after having many vehicles that i have been able to do odd jobs on, i have now purchased an alhambra which i am pleased with but am convinced Seat dont want us to do our own repairs (everything is hard to access). I appreciate it is a very basic question, but can anyone advise on the best / easiest way to access the front side light bulb and front indicator bulb to replace, as there seems to be alot of surrounding plastic and rear of unit is boxed in?. ( alhambra yr2002 )
IIRC there is a slideing door in the wheel arch liner, undo the screw and open the door, now you will need the dexsterity of a anorexic mid wife and you should be able to do it?
Fredt,
many thanks for that, you saved me alot of bother i can assure you. Believe it or not,i was passing and popped into my nearest Seat dealer yesterday and asked the same question. A helpful bod from the service dept came out, looked and concluded that i would need to remove air filter with allen key and reach down to lift the grey quick release leaver ( which was the rear of the indicator bulb), then the whole lens should drop forward allowing access!!. Am i glad i received your reply prior to trying their option.
thanks again.
