Front fog light set

I just brought and fitted a fog light kit onto my 2001 Y plate Ibiza.
After a nightmare trying to deciffer the instructions [seems that they have been translated from spanish to english pritty poorly] i got them fitted in fine...

There are two small questions i hope someone can answer...

1: The wiring loom that comes with the lights looks very THIN, i'm wooried about current draw through the cable [eanyone know what the fogs current draw is?].

2: And how bright in relation to the dipped beam are they supposed to be as they are noticably dimmer... ??

Given that Power = Current times Voltage
and you have a 55w light? at 12volts it's around 4.6amps per light.

Makes it about 10 amps! nice one think the cable should handle that.... Had bad dreams of the cable melting and setting the car on fire!! :eek: :devil:
