I've just bought a new arosa 1.4 16v sport, and in less than a week it has developed 2 problems.
1. central locking on passengers door not working.
2.light stays on to say the boot is open.
Did anybody else have any teething problems on new cars

Yes I had an intermittent problem with my cordie - the lights on indicator on the dash kept comming on.
I had some modded fogs - when I took them off, one of them had been mounted upside down so it collected water (drain hole at the top!!!). Problem sorted.
Other than that no probs.
Did you get your car from Spinnaker?
I get my Cordie serviced there.
How do you find the sport? I'm thinking of getting one for commuting - my cordie's too thirsty.

lucky 32, I got my Arosa from Meadons but I will get it serviced at spinnaker, they fixed the boot light and I'm getting the central locking replaced on friday.
What do you think of the service there?
So far I would recommend one, it's a lot better than my last car(P reg Corsa Merit 1.2)

Martyn, My car is a Arosa 1.4 16v sport, It's old shape but new reg, paid just £7995 plus £180 for 10 disc auto changer, but I'm still waiting for a cable from them.
So I'm not that pleased with the service.

Spinnaker are fine no problems with them. Just a few raised eyebrows with the mods on the car.
They do have some decent machinery there.
Saw a Tommi Mackinen EVO 6 last time I was there. Must have been one of the last 6's it still had max on it!
