Spare Parts

Hi,

I ordered a glovebox and a cupholder for my V5 Toledo back in Feb. I was told Seat parts moved and lost a load of bits then I was told that the all the computer records had been lost.

I am still waiting for the bits, has anyone else had this bother getting spare parts. Scares me if something major happens and I have to wait 3 months with the car in the garage...8-)

Heard of a woman who had waited 1 month for an ECU her car was off the road..

The bits I've ordered have turned up next day from both SEAT MK & VW Wayside (anti roll bars, window mechs, various nuts & bolts)

Went and saw the SEAT dealer from which parts were ordered and had a word. That was Wednesday on Friday he calls me the bits are in. Don't know why they never came orginally but they sorted it and sorted it quick so my faith is renewed. And I had my V5 serviced this week and nought needed doing so a good week.
