One of my colleagues had a V5 on test last week for a few days. I took it home with just 45 miles on the clock, and put another 120 on it.....my comments..
- Very comfy, multi adjust seats much better than Leon.....
- Surprising economy, 33mpg on 45 mile drive home.....(14mpg on a burn-up)
- Surprising speed......135mph and still pulling..... +
- Instant power for overtaking in 2500 - 6000rpm band.
- soft, but controlled ride....springs more suited to softer shocks unlike Leon.
- unrivaled engine sound......:D
- HGP Turbo upgrade would make perfect (with better suspension), £5000 for 270bhp....
- 312mm brakes alot better than 280mm on my TDi.
Overall..........better than 20VT...
