On of my neighbours hit my Cordy on Friday, ******* didn't own up and I didn't see it happen but know who it was..... http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/mad.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/mad.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/mad.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/mad.gif
Anyway, the damage is confined to the area between the door and the wheel arch above the sideskirts. So I need some ideas about what to do now. Choices so far...
1. Just get the damaged repaired as best possible. (I'm not sure it is possible to make a perfect repair easily)
2. Get some air vents, MR2 etc moulded in. ( Don't know how much that will cost but not cheap.
3. Leave it and take the hit come trade in time...
Come on guys, help decide... Anything else I could do?

if the knock has damaged the area ie. cracked the paintwork, i would have to say just get it repaired as best as poss cause rust will set in quick.. if the damage didnt wreck the paintwork i would recommend getting the area sorted by dentmasters or someone like that, i had a whoppinmg great ding on my passenger side when ome **** opened a door, not once but twice http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/mad.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif !!! he had a look and said ooh im not sure if ill get it perfect but ill have a go , and IMHO it is perfect, not bad for 30 beer tokens!!
as for vents, i dunno because 1 is the area too low for the vents and 2 would cost a fortune to try and then possibly not like the finish on it....thats my tuppence worth http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/tongue.gif

Thanks mate. I'm beginning to think the vents might not be such a good idea. I had another look last night and the dents would still need sorting anyway. I'm gonna shove a load of touch up on the damaged paint bits until I can get a repair to stop rust. I might even have a go at pushing the creases out with a roller.

Don't go for vents. try to keep the body work as close to standard unless you are going mental. In which case whatch this space http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif
