already got piperX and sebring back box, but WANT MORE!! anybody no if theres a cam kit available for the 2000 1.4 8v mpi??

I'm a fellow 1.4 owner and the sad truth is without HARD CORE work you ani't got much chance of much more!
Piper apprently do cams but you will be lucky to see 8 /10bhp!!
Proberly cost 300 notes plus!
The only other big option is get a blower conversion should see another 50 bhp witha good one will cost though i was quoted about 3k almost half what i paid for the car and thats without the insurance going crazy....:( :(
I'm waiting till november when my insurance is up for renewal [4 years no claims] and i'm going to have myself a 20vt :)
Still cost me £1400 fully comp as im 20 :eek:
But its worht it ;)

20VT with Privilage with 4 yrs noclaims do fully comp, protected claims for £800 when I was 21, this year its £700
Sh*t the glories of cheap insurance i'm currently paying £600+ note on a 1.4s with an induction kit declared oooooch 20 3 years no claims paid in one lump sum with cat 1 alarm immoberliser etc...:mad:

Did a quote with Adrian Flux about a month ago £1600 fully comp
i can afford the car but i'm not even thinking of paying that sort of money to the man in the grey suit.
Lets hope it comes down as i here there ain't many more Cupras to be had and the new one is £15,500 and higher on the insurance grouping:eek: :eek:

Just spend a afternoon phonin all the companies, and tell each one you have a quote of what u want to pay EG say u have a quote from someone for £500 and see if they can beat it..
Also the new cupra wont be relised for another 15 months at least I have family that owns a seat dealershit and get all the Gos :)

Yeah the new one is running a 2l 20v turdo standard power plant is rated at 240bhp obviusly reduce as usual for us seat owners the motor is going to be spread across the hole vag family proberly should be good to tune..
When do you recon the last 1.8 20vt will be avalible you think i will be able to get one in November time?????:)
To save confussion Seat havn't confermed the motor yet but that is what it should be if it stays in line with the other makes!!:)

I asked about that the other day and they said they are goldust now and u would be lucky to get one as they stoped makin it!! I suppose it makes it a little more exculsive now and also he said the cupras will fetch good money back too
SH*T might have to be Clio 172...

Clio 172!!! get an insurance quote on that!!!I wanted one once and they are group 16 insurance and for some reason are MENTAL to insure, unless you old :)

Odiviously somehting to do with it being made in France and the fact there supposed to break pritty bad [like R5s];)
I not even going to open that can of worms...
Its a shame about the Cupra i did realy want one never mind see whats about in Nov... Never know the insurance on an EVO 7 might drop to £100 fully comp!!!! Yeah right can always dream:p
