Hi Jabba,
I tried looking at your webiste but it is being built. Could you please tell me how much you would charge for a complete remap of the ECU and do you know the power gains. I own a GTI 8V. Much appreciated. I will have a K&N induction kit, fast road cam, power boost valve and a performance exhaust fitted by the time i go for a complete remap, will this help me get even more power from the remap? Many thanks
:D
Mike gets really busy mate, best to ring and ask!
Cheers

I did phone and ask jabba chips but they said they were too busy with working on the 20VT's and they had not produced a program to incorpaorate the GTI 8V version with my modifications that i listed:
Fast road cam
Power boost valve
Induction kit
Performance exhaust
But they said to phone back in a couple of months time and they might be able to sort something out. I also phoned superchips and asked them the same question, they said it would be about £450 but they cannot guarantee what the power gain would be, it could be 5bhp or anything up to 25bhp, so it is a risk spending the money when the result in power will not justify the money spent. See how things go anyway, if a proper program is developed for the 8V then the spend in money could be worth it. Who knows. Will keep everyone posted as to what the final results are!!
