Replacement Bulbs
Removing Bulbs
Anyone who has tried to remove the sidelights (parking Lights) in a Leon knows to leave a good 20 minutes and expect grazed knuckles.
However, I will share a tip which I bet the Halfords man who told me it was 'easy - a 20 second job' would of liked to have know when I told him to have a go - and he couln't fit the bulbs because the old ones wouldn't come out...
Get all the covers and stuff out of the way - find 2 small flat head screwdrivers - and simulatniously jam them down the sides of the little clip on the black plastic bulb housing - then, whilst they are jammed in there - get some needlenose pliers and pull the bulb out.
Not quite like the user manuel suggest - i.e. just pull them out - i swear Seat don't want us to be able to maintain our own cars... It sounds simple - i suppose it is, but it's bloody tricky and frustrating first time round.
