hi guy's.
can someone please give the Specifications of the turbo that run on the ibiza 20vt.
i know it's kkk02, but what's the size of the turbo, what's the bar presure it can take stuff like that.

Actually its a kkk-k03 turbo... pretty small in comparison to that of the garret t3 etc.. Its probable the size of a garret T2 maybe smaller.. It currently runs at 7-9psi standard. When chipped it can run on avg 15psi and be ok, some people have it @ 17psi with a bleed valve. Its not recomended to go hihger than that on boost, but this is considered safe...
If you want a bigger turbo you can get the kkk-k04 turbo which is on the audi TT, this will bolt straight on and with good remaping can get 230-240bhp without any upgrades... After 240bhp fuel pressure regulators need to be upgraded as they are pretty much at 100% on 230-240bhp... If this is done with a few other mods like 3" full exhaust, induction kit and high flow intake pipes the car is good for 250+bhp

no, its not the same turbo.. there are many kkk04-xx turbos available. Audi TT 225 has bigger turbo that AFTERMARKET kkk04-01 turbo, and that aftermarket kkk04-01 goes straight to seat cupra 1.8T. IF you put audi tt225 turbo to cupra, you need new manifold/custom water+oil lines/different downpipe etc....

Yes I have kkk04 turbo. It went in without any problems.

If I change the K03 turbo and replace it with the bigger KK04-01.

your kkk03 chip will also work, but you get better performance if you upgrade your chip.
difference kkk03 vs. kkk04 is like day and night :D

it will work fine with original ic also, but ofcourse you will get some extra ponies with bigger ic..
yes i have kkk04. chip upgrade also for new turbo, havent dynoed it yet, but i think about 20hp more, and torque curve is much better than before, pulls from 2000rpm -> redline really hard
