Where did you guys buy your cars and where do you take them for servicing /warranty work?

I got mine @ AC Clydebank but they are not doing SEAT anymore and the guy that sold me the car has left. He was really helpfull and couldn't do enought for me. Even changed the whole car after a week when I said I wasn't happy with the paint on the doors and wing.

Anyway. I have heard bad reports about Paisley and have just had a not too good discusion with the service dept about MPG problems. Never had it above 47MPG even when driving Miss Daisy style. Basically they are not interested and If I want them to look at it and they find nothing wrong they will charge me for wasting their time. :censored:

The guys at the parts bit are fine and have got me all the stuff I asked for but the sales people and service people don't seem to care. I was even asked if I was using the Air-Con and told that would really affect MPG!!

hi mate, i've always used W.Livingstones in Uddingston both for purchasing my cars and servicing, although i am having a dispute just now with them over an speedo problem and they are claiming its not under warranty cause its chipped. :( Have used AC when they were in Elderslie and they seemed quite helpful. Phoned them in Paisley regarding my speedo problem and they said they would do it under warranty regardless of mods to car! :)

Who did you speak to @ Paisley? I spoke to the sales manager a while ago and he seemed ok but it was a woman on the service desk.

i think it was the service manager i spoke to. Havent been in to see them just spoke on the phone. Still to book my car in as the speedo is behaving itself just now.
