Hi all I'm new here, I have just ordered a 2.0 DSG Sport in Tinta Black  and it's due to be delivered in late July. I wonder if anyone can help me with a question about the functionality of the Bluetooth option? I am due a phone upgrade and I want to order one that will do as much as possible. I have to have a Sony Ericsson and the choice is K500i T630 K700i P910i or S700i. On the SEAT site all Sony phones except the Z600 say Voice commands only-phonebook cannot be viewed on the multifunction display. Can someone confirm that this is the case? Thanks in advance, looking forward to driving a rare car after a great test drive experience... :D

Beware! I've got the Bluetooth on my Altea and a T630 and it doesn't work properly. The issues are under investigation but I'm not that hopeful of a resolution - see seperate thread "Bluetooth Issue" . Of those yuo mention yuo may have better luck with the K700i but my advice is try before you buy.

Thanks Richard, I have called in to a Seat dealer on my travels today and to be honest they were clueless, I will ask the question officially through the lease company who are supplying the vehicle and I will report back. Hope that you get the issues resolved.
i'm hoping to get my car within the next couple of weeks, and as for the phone issue - i run a nokia 6230 that doesn't have the phonebook option, whilst i'd like to get a newer phone that is 100% compatible with the car, the dealer and the website isn't the most useful of places for information.
All i do know is the 6310i is 100% compatible, so i have one in the drawer at work on standby should all else fail :)
I don't have the seat, but my boss has an Audi A4 with the bluetooth kit, assuming that its the same or similar (as the SAT NAV seems to be!) this is what we found.
We all have Siemens S65 mobiles and on SEAT it says voice only, on his Audi, once he trasfered the phone book from the phone to the SIM, he was able to view the phone book on the DIS.
I hope this is the case as I hope to order one with the BT kit.

Thanks all.... I did have a Nokia 6310i but I stupidly lost it last weekend, :banghead2 with all my numbers etc so this week has been a challenge you might say!
I have a "proper" built in car kit in my Audi so I have reverted to the 6210 which sadly isn't BT compatible. I am overdue an upgrade on my company phone and I have to have a handset by Sony Ericcson as it is company policy.
I have asked the company mobile provider to see if they can help and I am also going to submit the question via the leasing company so hopefully I will be able to get a definitive answer about which is the best phone out of the range available, from somewhere before the car arrives at the end of July.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated................
