firstly....
I'm really hoping someone in here can help me, this is getting close to my last resort. i own a 2000 1.9 90bhp tdi toledo( :hide: slow i know) and i really want to make it faster, i have considered a transplant from a 1.8 20vt but reconsidered when i seen the amount of work that had to be done. this brought me to the conclusion that a 150bhp tdi engine is my safest bet. Now comes the hard task of finding an engine doner, the problem is what needs to ne donated as well as just the engine block, head, injection pump, and ecu. If anyone can help me with any of that i would accept your help with open arms.

secondly...
After god knows how many hours on the internet i still can't find but am still desperately looking and would love to know does anyone know where i can find a company that produces touring-car style bodykits for the mkII toledo. Any help on this matter, no matter how small will also be greatly accepted.

alright mate.

the 2000 model will be a Mk2 toledo, you may or may not know that this is a leon with a boot.

therefore you can fit leon sideskirts, front end material as well.

i didn't know there was a 90bhp model? anyways i've been told its all the same block, the only difference is in the electronics.

perhaps a plug in box could make a fair bit of a difference? at the moment i have a 110 model and i'm quite happy with the power for the moment.

oh ya can definitely get a 90bhp.. in fact in ireland the only two options available for tdi are 90bhp and 110bhp.. we don't get the option of the 130, or 150bhp version.. we also don't get cupras or 1.8 20vt toledos. they're only available on the leon but only in 180bhp form as well.. a plug in box puts unnecvesary pressure on the engine that i'd prefer not to if at all possible thats why i'd rather spend a few quid and get the real deal but it means buying from the uk.. and that is a bit of a problem.. although i noticed on e-bay there last week a 150bhp tdi engine from a 2003 golf was being auctioned with the highest bid of... wait for it.... £206... if only i paid my visa bill

It would be a surprisingly massive job to get the 150 PD unit into a non PD TDI I'm afraid, and although it sounds like a simple swap it definately wouldn't be. You would need to swap almost everything mechanical and most of the electrics too.
But you could quite easily get 150 bhp plus out of your 90 bhp model, especially as yours is a later spec one. This wouldn't cost a fortune either, and you could keep your existing suspension, brakes, gearbox, driveshafts etc etc etc.
Do a search on here and on Fred's TDI club and you will see how tune-able the 90bhp Diesel is.....
