Seems odd to me.
The sizes are very reasonable..
You sure its ET37? They're ET38 as standard and a lot of aftermarket wheels are ET35's.
I am stumped. Sorry!

Crash damage or a wide wide rim?
oz polaris
not that wide never dinded em scratched but never bent them it seems to me that on the left hand side the tyre is closer to the wing on the left than the right ? odd or wot the cars is one owner from new. mate of mine never thrashed or abused but it seems very strange
I still reckon it's camber related
I saw one on Saturday that was set up different to mine - the top of the rim stuck much further out.

I would have said camber, but this guys wheel rubs the inside...
Seems mighty odd to me.
Get the tracking/camber checked somewhere reputable - maube something will become apparent then.

Is it not just the combined result of the car being lower AND fitting wheels with a bigger rolling radius? The tops of the wheels are probably at least 50mm higher in the arch than standard.
Do the wheels touch all the time or only when going over bumps etc?
Are the rims 7Jx17 or 7.5Jx17?
Cheers
Ben
went to another place today they said that they could CUT the front bolt which holds the inner plastic liner a bit and roll the arches this should help the wheel are 7 /17 camber is also being checked and if prob adjusted only when going over bumps does it catch at the top ??????????????? not to sure as i putu 3mm spacers to get the tyres off the inner wing did think about TAPPING the inner wing a little with a lump hammer to solve the inner wing prob but that wont stop the plastic liner however someone at the local Seat Garage said could you take the inner plastic out wot would the consquences be ? if the arches are rolled/ cut off and the plastic liner removed that might solve the prob just seems a bit drastic to me as other people here have decked there cars with none of these probs
