light on dash came on today abs took it in to the garage they said the speed sensor was wasnt workin on the wheel anyone else had this prob if so how to cure

If it is the sensor it has to be replaced for a working one to fix your fault.

was it showing a ault or not working?mines done this twice and reset and a new fuse is still working(for the 2nd time) if its not working ya need a new un but if its showing a fault clean it and reset tit,have some extra fuses in me glove box if it goes again:D :cheers:
hi, is this for a toledo? i have 92 model, but my ABSlight is out- it doesnt come on when i switch ignition on- can anyone tell me where the fues is- its not in the fuse box

ive had it happen 3 times, had the front left speed sensor replaced 3 times, turned out to be the abs controller , vagcom reported it as front left!!
other wee problems that i got when it went were abs kicking in even if the car wasnt skidding, for example, was easing along in traffic, 10 mph and it kicked in, i nearly went into the back of a cople rather expensive cars!!
