With the new leons being launched this year, will there be any major depreciations in value for the current model?
For example I bought my new LCR before they announced the launch of the new leon model. I know it will be a while before the LCR equivalent comes out. Any rough guesses on how much i would lose, will there be a big decrease in value of these cars?

There is bound to be major depriciation as with any model switch over which all stems from the prices dealers will pay for a old model, as you say though the hotter versions won't be here until next year so it is the lower models that will take the biggest hit, I think initially the top spec one will be a 150bhp 2.0fsi Sport version. Just remember no car is an investment and you still have the car you wanted

Yeah thats pretty much what I thought. Cheers for the reply :)
Just thought with the LCR's being fairly rare (tell me if Im wrong but think only around 4000 have been sold UK) just didnt know if the LCR would hold its value more in the next few years?

Depends how well the the new LCR takes off, people may preffer the older ones?
