Anybody seen the new Golf Plus? I assume this is VW's version of the Althea?
I've been looking in Austria and Switzerland but don't think so.... still a few days left. Alteas... a fair few in black, red, and pastel green not a UK colour I don't think. An old Fiat Uno colour. They seem to be driven by older men.... !.

Yes, sat in one and had a good look round one at a local motorshow last weekend. Quite nice.

I test drove one (1.9S), it was good but not as good as my Altea 1.9 Stylance. It costs £2500 more to have the spec of an Altea Stylance (thats without, tyre pressure monitors & steering wheel audio controls).
The 2006 Spec Altea has it beaten on every count, except the for the Golf+s LED rear lights. But the rest of the car is so dull to look at, nobody will ever bother to look at the rear lights.
My Alteas 10mths old, done 22,000miles and people still stop me in the car park or petrol station to ask me about it. That never happened in 10 years of owning VWs.
