If like me you were dissapointed with the outward appearance of your leon cupra ie its lack of sporting touches then here is an easy and cheap way to add some style to your leon cupra.
Buy two cupra badges from your main dealer (The badge that is under the seat logo on your LEONs boot lid).NB This part is actually an IBIZA part/stock code and is not listed on the LEONs micro fiche
Place one badge on the upper right corner of your glove box lid leaving about 1cm margin ..dead easy its self adhesive. For an idea of where to put it look at the quattro bagdes audi put on their A3 quattro sports.
The other badge is a little trickier but still easy
you will need
a short piece of plastic right angle profile just shorter than the cupra badge (make sure the height of the profile is just less than the height of the cupra badge aswell)
some double sided foam sticky pads (waterproof or for outside use)
1 stick your cupra badge onto the right angle profile so that the bend is level with the bottom edge of your cupra badge
place some foam sticky pads onto the face of the bend behind your badge which is now horizontal.
carefully feed this rear angle with the badge facing towards you between two of you radiator grill slots to the lower right of your seat emblem on the front of your car (try not to touch anything at this stage as the pads are sticky)Again the Audi A3 quattro sport was the guide used for badge positioning.
when you are pleased with its position then push the rear angle up to fasten it to the bottom of the radiator grill slat above it.
your enhancement will have cost you about 15 pounds but its amazing just how much more notice your car will get..even the bmw owners will pull over for you when they recognize that the badge they see in their rear view mirror signifies performance.
pedestrians even notice it too.
If youre not sure what I mean then look a few replies down and I have posted a picture/instructions calles badge project.jpg
Mine is still in place after 1 and a half years 30,000 miles and countless jet washes.
Why SEAT didn't do this in the first place I don't know.
