My Leon is coming up to a 40K service. My local stealer has stated the cost will be around £300. Just wondering has anyone in the Manchester area tried Volksmaster in Oldham, they advertise as VAG repairers.
Well i have just spoke to them. £165 for a 40K service, using VAG approved parts (not to mess up warranty). This includes sparks, oil, etc
dunno what they do for £300, i thought the basis behind it was 10k minor, 20k major then 60k for the cambelt.
bells hyde have quoted me £135 if i use my own oil (20k service) plus ive just got a 25% off voucher through the post :)

Mines due on my Leon TDi now but the last time I had work done on my car was at Richard Corts in Rossendale and I wasnt overly impressed with them!

Volksmaster did the 40k service, came in around the £200 inc VAT, etc. Pleased with the service, the guys seemed really knowledgable, and the servive bay was full of VAG only cars. Worked out about £100 less than Richard Cort quoted me. I would go back again.
