Noisy Tappet

Hi All,

On my ol mans Arosa 16v Sport, he has noticed a tapping noise coming from what appears to be one of the engine tappets.

He has been advised to put it i for an adjustment.

Has anyone else had or heard this?

I thought tappets on modern cars were self-adjusting???

not all modern engines use self asjusting tappets, however im not sure what the VW groups engines use, if its in warranty....get it in!!
