Will a large port head fit on any non-vvt 1.8t?I've heard something doesn't match up on s3's/tt's i think it's the inlet manifold.
head casting is the same, apart from port size, and no drilling for secondary air.
but the only standard manifold that will fit (inlet) is the one off an early golf with drivers side throttle body, so on an s3, you'd have to fab your own.
Having done this mod to my vvt golf, I would say the money's better spent elsewhwere. More valve lift and duration should gain you more for less.

So do you reccommend swapping cams?
Looking into cams at the moment. Looking at inlet tract areas, the valve lift x circumference is the smallest and most restrictive area.
