View Full Version : Cupra interior illumination

My question is regarding the interior dashboard illumination. As we all know when the lights are turned on, the dashboard and console light up red, however after taking a VW Golf for a test drive, I noticed that it lighted up blue.

How easy is it to change the illumination in the Cupra from red to blue, is it a straight forward swap with regard to the bulbs, seeing as VW are SEAT use the same components anyway. I have no idea how to do it, or maybe there is someone out there that could do it for a small fee.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

dash unit holds the immobiliser now so NOT easy if possible at all , to be honest the blue with red needles hurts ya eyes at night ,most my VW mates dim theres http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/frown.gif

i know an instrument guy who may do it but as for removal +refit I DONT RECCOMEND IT sorry GRAND IDEA THOUGH http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
