cupra 160 oil spec and service

hi ppl
wont to clear up in my mind
what oil do i use 4 a ibiza cupra 160 is it 505 or is it 506
is the car on standard 10k service intervals or is it on varible servicing
i have used the search function but hasent helped :confused:

SEAT UK Aftersales issued a bulletin in April about this

"The Ibiza Cupra with 1.9 TDI PD 160 PS (Engine Code - BPX),only oil 0W-30 in accordance with VW 506-01 can be used,with nitervals of 10,000 miles/12 months."

"In all other Diesel Engines with Pump Injector technology (except engine code BPX), oil VW 505-01 is to be used"

Your SEAT dealer should be able to supply it in 1 litre bottles - part number - ZGB000506011 @ £9.84 + vat each
