The kit itself is nice except for the grille mods which look a bit shite in my opinion.
Ditch the eyebrows (for Nova Boys) and grille insert/surrounds and have nice mesh instead.
We don't want Ibizas going the same way as all the muppet cars.

Paul,
Whats wrong with the grill!! I have one on my 20VT and I think it looks ok! Checkout the pictures on the smartgroups site of my car in WIDDOWDS CUPRA Gallery. As for the rest of the car I think it looks pretty good apart from the rear spoiler, It looks a bit out of place..

Kit looks good, the front is begging for an intercooler, but the foglights could fill the whole square they sit in, it looks a bit bodged having a placcy bit fillin the gap

That is a nice front airdam - very reminiscent of the M5's chin.

If you've got contacts with these guys Lee, could you find out if they do one similar to this for the Leon? People are always comparing the Leon's nose to that of a BMW, so I reckon an M3/M5 style front spoiler would really do the car justice. Plus it would rival the front end of the Octavia RS as well for aggressive looks.

Kit looks good! Rear spoiler possibly over the top, better to improve original. Grill conversion not bad, but front bumper might be better with 20VT fog lamps.

did they copy widdowd' front end?.right get rid of the number plate and continue the line of the bumper to the centre, put the no
plate in lower part of the bumper or as somone else has said stick in a **** off big inter cooler in there.nice side skirts (MAKE THEM OUT OF PLASTIC AS FIBRE GLASS ONE'S R SHITE AND FALL TO PEICES IN WEEKS,CARCEPT) can't get my head round the standard rear spioler so no comment on the new one,i'm not into diffusers they look good from behind but not the side ,and lastly ,GET RID OF THAT SODDING GREAT SEAT BADGE ON THE BOOT. i don't care how it's done, it is vile. i reckon you could prize it off then fill in the gap with p45 sand it spray it paint it .completly flush boot. sorry but you did ask!

I have the frontbumper since last januari, so what's new about it. SJB Sport (england) is registered dealer for the brand. They can allready sell you the kit.
I like the bumper but i have alterred the mesh. For pics you can see my site www.seattuning.nl (http://www.seattuning.nl)

Well all i can say is that if SJB are selling the kit they are doing a good job of keeping it quiet.

Ooops, sorry if you have that grille on your car, just that I don't like it.
The standard Cupra grille and lights look way better IMO "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

That kit is from Caractere in Belgium.

The one going on Amethysts demo Ibiza was ordered last week and will be fitted as soon as it arrives.

A second one has been ordered as it "might" be going on my car. Not sure on the quality front, but have been told Caractere are not bad. Will decide when the front bumper is here and I can have a good close look at it for real.

Don't like the square fog light assembly, so will be enquiring about possible mods to keep me current eyeball ones in there thank you!!!

Hi Mark,

Thats very interesting, cos from what I know, Caractere in Belgium says not a single kit from Belgium has come over yet?

If John has sold some, maybe he can get hold of some pictures of the UK customers who have had the kit fitted.

Wouldn't mind speaking to them actually!

How much is JB selling the front bumper for???

Lee

PS: I thought Dave was going for this front bumper, rather than the Carcept one (or is it something else altogether, cos it looks mighty suspicious looking like a Audi RS2 replica??)

if you remember back to the yahoo site, wasn't a picture of this car on the home page in the top left hand corner??????

Jason,

That was a Carcept Ibiza kit, not the Caractere kit I'm talking about.

The yahoo site first had the pic of the Carcept Leon kit, and then was switched to the Carcept Ibiza kit.

The Caractere kit from what I remember was never ever on that site. And they are the ones who have created the bumper on that Silver ibiza (pic on the home page) and that is going on Amethysts demo Ibiza very soon.

Chung

Let me know if you get any joy with the stock round spots...i quite like the front air dam, and reckon that on an oterhwise standard ody would probably look quite nice. don't like the square spots though...

Oh - anyone know what wheels that car is wearing too?

Oh righty, its a Seidl kit.

Cheers for the info Mark.

Comedy Si,

Will let you know as soon as i do that the square fogs on that bumper can be re-worked to house some eyeball ones instead.

The kit is not manufactured by Caracatere, they are a re-seller for the company that has the rights to selling the bumper.

Since Last year, we have ordered and delivered 12 of the Ibiza front bumpers, 8 to UK customers.

As Mark has already pointed out, both he, Dave A and Mark Davies have both seen two of the bumpers in the flesh when they visited late last year. The bumper was actually discovered by Dave in about Octber/November last year.

There is a version of that bumper available for the Leon/Toledo.

There is also an intercooler kit under construction for the Ibiza WRC bumper to fit the 1.8T, to give it the complete WRC look
