1.0MPI Ibiza Engine Revs up & Down automatically when idling

Hi, Anyone else had this problem with a Ibiza 1.0 LTR 2000
(1.0 MPI Engine):

When first starting up the engine dont idle smooth it revs up and down as if you keep pressing the accelarator pedal and then letting it off again. Clears itself and idles normally after a couple of minutes.

Also when moving steering wheel when idling, engine drops revs an awful lot as if its gonna cut out and then picks up quickly when stop moving steering wheel? I have had power steering on a Fiat before and it never died down as much as this when the steering was turned.

Any ideas peeps?

It's a combination of a small engine and power steering which takes a lot of power, I'm afraid, Andy :cool:

Hi..actually I Faced This Problem With My Car Seat Ibiza Mpi 1.0 And I Went To A Maintenance Centre, Simply They Changed The Temperature Gauge And While Making This Service The Mech. Find A Leakage In A Small Joint That Takes Irregular Quantity Of Air To The Engine, These Is Nearly As I Understand From The Mech.
