Has anybody seen a successful aftermarket Xenon conversion in use?
I've noticed that Bell something or other Beltronics? are advertising in the back of CAR/EVO etc. Looking at the kit on their website it seems to be quite complex with various transformers stepping the voltage up to 20,000 volts and some PCB's that need to be stuck somewhere.
I'd like the increased visibility and the sheer nice looking blue/white thing that happens when people come towards you. Could I whack the kit in from a Polo GTI? (For an Ibiza Cupra 20vt)

Opinions?

Cheers
Andy

Dave.. (andy.. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif )
what are the beezer lights actually like? Are they good on dip and main beam...
Never seen them working in the dark. My A6 looked like it had great lamps (projector jobbies) until I bought the car and drove it at night for the first time ! dip beam was feable, main beam was awesome... The shock from going from main to dip was scary at times though !! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/frown.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif

Jim, http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif

The lights ae pretty good. They're not feeble normally but as you say, main beam is damn powerful. I lit up the road signs at the Elmbridge Court roundabout last night near to the Sainsburys end. It also depends if you're a fog light user or not? We wont got into that argument here....

That's interesting, I assumed that RSD were supplying the parts and Amethyst were fitting them. I guess they only do the dump valves, exhausts and strut braces on site?

I'd like to be the person that has to drive the cars backwards and forwards to Banbury from Cheltenham for a living! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif
