Has anyone come across or done themselves a water sprayed system for their intrcoolers?
the WRC boys use this to good effect.
Could'nt be too hard to configure something along these lines with a temperature switch or manual switch squirting a good fine spray onto the intercooler core.

Just wondering. Might look into it. Somewhere in my many GBytes of hard drive I have an article on how another guy did this..

Well maybe not all Turbo's do but i can say with all confidence that the SEAT Leon does, its tucked down under the inner wing on the drivers side, without a doubt.

I guess the Ibiza has one in similar place, though i dont own an Ibiza so i cant really vouch for that.

Yep! If you've got a Cupra you've got an intercooler.
Mounted on lower LHS of engine bay, with spoiler ducting into it.
TT's have 2 I believe. The 225 ones at least.

Thats right , they do have 2 as far as im aware so does the S3 and Leon Cupra R too, but cant be positive on this. I would of thought Jonathan will know though for the S3 anyway, and the new Cupra R shares its powerplant with the S3.

Forge have just made a intercooler kit for the TT, big huge one that goes right across the front.

They are believed to be developing this for the SEAT cars too.

Look forward to seeing it.
Might try a water spray first and monitor how hot the induction charge gets on full boost (after running it in of course)
