Will ahve to look... they do the Twister as a replacement unit but I will have to dig around for the filter element itself.. Twister bit on the top of it is unique to the Twister filters... worst case a conventional Green filter with plain top would fit inside. I need to check apature sizes and the catalogue.

As said tho, have you tried a cleaner kit on one to rejuvinate it? £12.95 for one. (plus P&P)

Sorry to hijack the thread, but how often should the filter be serviced?

in practice i think the first clean need only amount to tapping the major dirt out of the pleats if the green filter still looks green.

all down to useage as some peoples filter will need much more frequent cleaning depending.... check em

Bill,

What does the cleaning kit consist of? How many 'cleans' is it good for? Having checked mine I've found it is full of more s**t than a politician so will need a good few cleans!

A long shot but are these machine washable?!

cleaning kit consists of a detergent and spry oil.mine has lasted 3 cars and over 3 years, halfway down the detergent and bugger all gone from the spray can,i very lightly oil the filter on the outside so that very little can be drawn into the MAF.
not sure if bill or green agree ,but its worked for me on a few thousand mile
