problem

Hi,
I've got a 98 Ibiza TDi.
Just recently the pilot light for the preheating has started flashing on and off. This only happens when I've been driving at about 70 for more than about 15 minutes. Once I slow down to about 50 it stops. It's only just started doing this but it is consistent. Has anybody any ideas what it could be, or is a trip to the dealer's in order?

Ali ~ I remember something in the Leon handbook regarding flashing glowplug light - it's a warning of some sort, but I can't remember what :rolleyes:

Cheers mik. I've been through those links they sound like the same problem. So I'll check the bulbs but if all are working it seems the problem is probably the brake switch.
Does anybody know how I can test the brake switch? I've had bad reports on the only dealers' nearby, or would it be best taken to an independant garage?
