For all your's info, don't mess with the factory fitted radio console in the 2001 ibiza (the one with the heater controls/etc.)
Just had the whole thing replaced under warranty as the plastic surround had broken clips. Was told that it costs over 500 notes!!! :eek:
Your lucky to get it replaced under warranty, as i presume you were trying to remove it or something.
I've removed mine a couple of times now, no problems. Best advice is be patient and don't force it....

Saul managed to get an entire unit, from GTI International, the breakers stalls.
For £15, though he said the bloke wasn't to sure what he was selling him. :D
Saul is using this for the basis of his single slot DIN headunit conversion, which hes having done.
Looking forward to seeing it soon.
Had it replaced because the dealer had removed it previously to try and stop the dash rattling and when the took it out again, realised most of the clips weren't working. So they replaced the whole unit as just the plastic facia can't be changed.

Umm yes it can....
It can be removed without any problems - did it several times.
So why would they replace the whole unit?
Unless the nackered it taking it out.
No idea, probably they needed one ;)
