this is the first time i have ordered from awesome so have no idea what to expect. if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated...
how long does it usually take from placing an order (on the internet) to receiving the order? i placed an order for a carbinio on thurs evening but have not heard that it's been dispatched yet. should i call them up for info or just stop being impatient? i was hoping i would get it early this week so i can fit it and start making vader noises with my car.
ps. this is not a whinge, just a request for info.

I got an email saying it was being dispatched then arrived by courier about 24/48 hours after, you can check delivery status on line when you log into their site.....

I would guess that depends on stock etc and how busy they are

I Telephone ordered my short shift on the friday lunchtime, it was with me Tuesday morning, although they did try to deliver monday PM, but with no luck ! So not long - they did however have that in stock which i imagine makes a big difference !

Sorry for the delay on this one Russell, its the 2.0i kit you've ordered isnt it?
We're stock lots of the 1.8T kits but very few 2.0 kits and are currently out of stock of them, i'm currently awaiting for some to arrive...
oh, bugg3r.
i've ordered the wrong one then.
i wanted the 1.8T kit.
any chance of changing my order?

my bad.
this is how i made the mistake. i just assumed that 2.0 meant version 2, not 2 litre! i didnt realise the leon came in 2L.

from going to the next page it also lists TDI and 1.8T. Doh!
i called the store and am currently waiting for the internet accounts manager to call me back and change the order.
No problem lol, will leave today :)

lol no problem, i've removed it from that page and re-worded it so should be a little clearer.. yes ive changed your order...
