What does anyone think about fitting a bleed valve to a Leon ?
I am thinking of doing it as the pipework where it needs fitting is easily accessible, and its easily removed for servicing etc if needed and reinstalled afterwards as the pipe it should be installed in is secured with a jubilee clip and should only take 5 mins to remove and refit,

does anyone know if the ecu will increase the fuelling automatically on sensing the lean fuel mix, and if there is a high pressure cutout switch somewhere and what pressure it operates at if it exists!!

If it works, it will be a cheap way of getting 200Bhp !! (20 quid for the valve)

Might give it a try anyway and see what happens as if anything goes wrong i can just remove it

Sorry can't be done.

ECU will register overboost and go into default mode of about half boost and then you will need to visit a dealer to re-set.

Just remember you get what you pay for and £20 dosen't get you 208bhp.

Oh well, Just a thought i had as lancia Y10's and scoobys work ok with them !!,

Leon's are just too complicated !! :(

Does anyone know of a way for me to be able to read the fault codes on my Leon?,
because on my old citroen XM, I had a lcd display box that i got from halfords that could display all the fault code when plugged into the diagnostic socket under the steering wheel, It only cost me 20 quid 3 years ago, but i havent seen anything like that for a leon, although i think they had one for a golf ?, might work on the leon
