Can I get my 97 2.0 8 valve chipped? If so, roughly how much would it cost and what sort of performance gain can I expect?

Cheers

I would recommend getting a cam fitted to the 8v before, or when you get the chip - as it makes a big difference, plus if you decide the power from the chip isn't enough you have to change it when the cam is fitted. SJB do the whole conversion - its listed on their website. DOn't be put off by the relativaly low power increase - as the torquey 8v will fly with this conversion.
