It was them that had quoted me the two month wait for one. But it looks like my source for twin webbers may have fallen through anyhow. Just have to wait and see....

I bought some stuff from your place today... enjoying your holiday?

Is this the 1.4 16v 100bhp motor?
I know a guy who runs this engine in an older Polo, with throttle bodies, DTA ecu, and Tony Lawes exhaust... 140bhp when done.
Try http://www.jacquemintuning.com/ for their TWM induction manifolds. You might be in luck.

Its only the 8 valve engine.

I have a set of twin 40's in the house so thats why i was thinking of fitting them.

I have a high lift cam so its either chip car or fit carbs to make the most of it... any ideas?

I also quite fancy the noise of the 40's, and im hoping for about 100bhp when done, not a rocket ship, but faster than standard.
