Forge - do you have any updates on the production of an LCR FMIC kit?
I have an LC with LCR intake and pipework and the LCR FMIC kit would be ideal.
many thanks in advance

We will be putting aside some time in September for the LCR specific FMIC.
I am not sure how much of the finished kit will fit your car however as we will design this around the stock LCR. ie standard LCR bumper and existing pipework?

OK - thanks
Do you supply the intercooler only as fitted with the LC FMIC kit and I can purchase the elbows separately.
Do you have tech spec (sizes) for the intercooler supplied in the Leon LC FMIC kit?

We cannot give you the tech info of the IC for obvious reasons, too many will just copy what we have spent time and costs developing!
We do not like to supply single parts only and much prefer a full kit to be purchased. If you buy just the IC and then make a pigs ear of the install and pipework it will still have our name on it and give us a bad rep.
email us direct and we probably come to some sort of compromise with your vehicle?

Don't suppose you have any idea of whether this is going to be:
a) an expensive conversion (clearing out the old IC's, new pipework etc...)
b) a lot of bumper cutting and drilling for mounts to get the FMIC to fit
Is it a big job getting the LCR bumpers on and off?

I feel awful, every time we meet up at a BTCC he does work on my bloody car - fitted my Snooper to my 05 Leon at Brands, is fitting my boost gauge at Silverstone (and hopefully having a look at my reversing camera). At least Lorna can show my Mrs the Vegas wedding brochures this time.
Crikey, you blackmailing him, i can't get anyone to fit shit for me, im usually the bitch making master as well. :p

I think he pities my lack of ability. I did pay him for fitting the Snooper so I'm not just using and abusing him.

take a wire coat hanger and some duct tape with you
seriously, they are invaluable with routing the piping for the gauge

Cheers for that would have forgotton it. I'll have to get something dry cleaned - don't think we have a wire coat hanging in the house now (used to keep one for when I locked my Mk1 Golf keys in the car).
Got some PTFE, an ultrbrite LED, m0rks bringing the soldering iron and Westec gave me a long bit of silicone hose so should be OK - am also going to bond the nomad pillar to the old one as the velcro fitting is a bit suspect.

Actually we did take it on the M5  how did u know that? Only got pulled up once though and the officer put this up to the window :banned:
Seriously we did log the stock car for what it was worth, it was raining and we could not get sustained pulls due to visibility and/or standing water (bald tyres hindered us a little too ;) )
I have quite a few logs of LCR's on dyno's so I am fully aware of the limits of the IC's.
Intercooler will be in place tomorrow morning for the pipe run to be sorted. Plenty of space inside the bumper in order to continue the 60mm sized stock pipes. Looks very promising already and its only day 2 of the development
Believe it or not I am an advanced driver

LOL.
"bald tyres" they had plenty of tred when I dropped the car off to you! ;)
You probably guessed but the boost was up full (as it always is). :)
Sounds like everything is going well. Me just a tad excited. (if my car's in one piece when I pick it up that is ;) )

Folks!! please pimp, other products in their respective sections, this is for information relating to the Forge product currently being developed. A&M have their own section in the forum, use that..
ta.
Sorry guys, wasnt paying attention,
Rich sent me some pictures of my car earlier. Job all done.
They didn't get a chance to do a dyno run though to prove the cooling, but I'll be taking it back to them another time to get that done.
Picking it up on wednesday. :cheeky:
