hmmmmm......... exhaust is good but i think it would look better if it was tucked up closer to the cut out in the bumper so its nice snug fit.

Like the car, nice and dark looking ... evil .. :D

Mr Roboto

Yeah I have to really careful when I reverse off the drive because of the high curb on the other side of the road :thumbd:

Not liking that pipe one bit. Looks like a standard exhaust with a '10 pound tail piece' bolted on.

But the rest of the car looks sweet.

I’d have to echo the “it needs moving up”, also could do with shorting it a bit, so it does stick out as much.

Are those 19s on there?

Got a new induction kit arriving tomorrow as I'm currently back on the factory filter as I sold my Dynatwist on the weekend. will post a pic when it is fitted.

Wheels aren;t my cup of tea either but the car looks good on that suspension, have your done the Anti-Roll Bars too??

One thing it has convinced me is that the silver angel eyes will be the way I go, don't dislike yours, just prefere the way the Spanish LCR with silver ones looked.

Good to see your trying different things on your car....

Humm not sure on the exhaust or rear lights but the rest of the car likey likey!!

I think that the black angel eye lights look good on black Leons but Chrome on all other colours. Don't think the black one's would suit red, yellow or silver/platinum.

Are they the UK spec lights or German / EU ones converted for UK roads??

Yeah Didn't want chrome on my black car as they would stick out to much, and the black one's blend in more with the car. But everyone has different tastes :)

They are left hand drive but they have beams adjusters.

Mr Roboto
16-08-2005, 08:23
You see the second to last pic of the rear?

If I went to a powerflow garage could they redo the tailpipe from the back box so it is abit neater?

Think it just needs bending up alittle and maybe alittle shorter, should be easy for them yes/no

Tallpaul
16-08-2005, 09:02
If I went to a powerflow garage could they redo the tailpipe from the back box so it is abit neater?

Shouldn't be a problem for any garage, as long as the mechanic has an eye for detail. Just a case of maybe bending the hangers and getting a neater fit. My Milltek exhaust had a fairly poor fit to start, but with a bit of playing around it fits sweetly.

So how do you adjust the beam with the beam adjusters then, where do they fit on??

Scotty_b
16-08-2005, 10:45
yeah any zorst place should be able to do it for you. Powerflow may even have a slightly better pipe, if your not 100% happy with it

Mr Roboto

On each beam there are four screws which allow you to move the beam alignment up, down, left and right :)

Mmmmmmm I like the Angel Eyes so much that i will be getting some in black , front of car looks well. But not keen on the back of the car ,sorry. Got same rear wiper set up as yours but opting to put a miltek system on . Did try some Lexus style rear light but went back to originals ,think the car looks better with them . Modding is only personal preference so if you like it thats what really counts mate ,it really does not matter what we think .

Looking a bit small but what does it perform like?

Mr Roboto
16-08-2005, 16:33
Gave it a good 2 hour blast around.

Sound wise it does sound better  Performance wise they same really.

Still it was only one drive so far more testing to come :D

My SEAT dealer fitted it would they be able to raise the tailpipe up abit closer to the rear valance?

Tallpaul
16-08-2005, 17:33
My SEAT dealer fitted it would they be able to raise the tailpipe up abit closer to the rear valance?

Assuming the back box is the same approximate size as the OE one it should be possible, unless the tail pipe itself is in a funny place?

Putting my exhaust on meant bending one of the hangers to stop it hanging down (a bit like yours does but not as much), then had to add some spacers to the hangers to get it to sit in the middle of the bumper cut-out.

As it's a custom system, if you can't get it to fit neatly then give Powerflow a call and ask them why not.

Not much different from the Dynatwist slightly better sound, and stays cooler.

The air intake pipe is much better than the one Green supplied for the Dynatwist, much more flexible :)

Got my windows tinted on Saturday by www.gatwickautoshades.com really pleased with the results.

Brighton Femme recommended them to me.

For all the windows tinted at 35% but with the LCR black interior it looks abit darker. I paid £240 and the end results are great, really pleased with it

Brighton Femme paid about £220 maybe less as she has used them before and her family/friends.

As for the Angel eyes you can get them in chrome aswell, which would suit your silver car better ;)

Hairdryer and something like a lolipop stick, heat badge with hairdryer and lever and edge up, more heat, more leverage and they peel off.

Do not rush and use something that will not mark your paint.....screwdrivers are a no no.

Remove sticky residue using soapy water, maybe petrol or meths or something (not white spirit)

Have you not been tugged for losing your rear reflectors????
Definate MOT failure for sure!

Have had the police behind me loads of times day and night and they have not said anything.

Still got ages before I have my first MOT, but I will switch the lights back to standard come the day.

Just in case :D

Cheers

I would like a Jabba remap but if there is a problem with the remap I would have to go all the way back again it is abit of a journey :(

If they can guarantee no problems with the remap then I would make the journey up there.

If not there is a Custom Code & Revo dealer 1 hour drive away, so don't know really

The charge pipe is great fits perfectly just like the original, plus the turbo is now louder. Gave it a good blast on the way home :D

As for the short shifter FANTASTIC even my SEAT mechanic said that was a great little mod. It feels so much more sporty now I highly recommend it

I had one on Wednesday night where one of the brackets was tight and the other wouldn't fit. Scotty had to fettle his to get them on. How were yours?

I actually found my old LCR better when I fitted coilovers, less tendancy to nose dive and roll, less movement under load generally so even though it was lowered 20mm it was better over speed bumps etc..........sounds odd but it's true.

Thanks for the advice rudd.
Was in brighton 2 weeks ago drove into a multi story car park, ended up on the roof, nightmare.
Drivng down every ramp caught front spilter, lol people behind where going mad how slow I was taking it.
Will look into getting coilovers if you think it will help.

Mr Roboto
24-06-2006, 11:02
The mount is now fitted have to say I am impressed with EIP's products so far.

"This center/rear lower mount decreases motor rocking incredibly, instantly you will feel more power to the ground. The EIP motor mount does not use hard polyurethane found in most other mounts. Because of this, little to no additional vibration will be felt when using our mount."

I'm gonna sound like the Ronseal advert but it does exactly what it says on the tin :D

Very pleased so far ;)
