I'm considering dark tinted rear light clusters for my Black Leon (when it finally gets here ...)

Does anyone know of a dealer/company who make one ??

I think there may be a DIY method using a tint spray but I'm sure this might end up looking a little dodgy..

if you spray the clusters in your garage or somewhere clean, u cant go wrong if you take them out, wash them dry them then do lenses in thin layers, ive even heard of people using a pair of tights over them to tint em!!!!

There is an art to self-tinting your lights. If you follow it then they will look pro and last for years....

1 - remove clusters from car
2 - wash clusters in hot water with plenty of washing up liquid (give them a good scrub!)
3 - Dry completely with towel and leave somewhere warm to fully dry (warm is important).
4 - Once dry and warm tape the areas off with tape and newspaper that you do not want tinted.
5 - Apply 4 or 5 thin coats from about 18inches distance.
6 - after each coat allow them to dry somewhere warm (no hairdriers!!!).

If you follow this you'll get a lovely shiney tint that will last for many years!!

PS - at any point you can undo your tint using some cellulose thinners.
