Hi to all from Greece.
I bought my yellow Cupra two months ago and I am planning to install a dump valve. I haven't made any other modifications yet.
Which one is better for my Cupra? Forge or Blitz? Keep in mind that Blitz costs twice the money of the Forge one, but money isn't a problem as long as I want the best of these two. Any comments are welcome.
ThanX!

Don't forget Bailey as well!

Ive got a Forge on my Leon, it seems to do the job well, far better than the factory dumper did thats for sure.
RSD who sold me my dump valve and chip upgrade, had tested a few different types and have so far decided the Forge ones to be the best they have tried.
Whether this included the Blitz models im unsure of.
But any dump valve is far superior to the originaly equipped model, just be cautious, as most tuners recommend you go with a re-circulating type, not the atmospheric or whooshing blow off type.
These are rumoured to lower the cars power, and if not will light your ECU's fault codes up like a Christmas tree anyway.

Blitz as far as i know...have NEVER devleoped anything for a car thats outside Japan.
there stuff is pukka.....no doubt about that...but they dumpers are for Sccobies/GTR's, EVO's etc......
It might not work as well as a Forge or Bailey dumper that has been developed SPECIFICALLY for the 20VT motor.....i.e. spring tensions for the piston etc.
By all means be the first......but i'd go for the Forge me self!!

As I said in my previous posting regarding Blitz & Forge for my 2001 Ibiza Cupra, I decided to go with Forge DV-006.
Can anyone certify that this valve fits in the OEM part (Bosch) or do I need any other modifications? (SAMCO silicon collars etc?)
Some postings were mentioning that you need to reset the ECU after the replacement, or else the ECU starts flashing its leds like Christmas Tree. Does it have something to do with the ECU or the Air Flow Meter? (Forge says that you don't need to do anything with the DV-006 because it fits on the standard OEM). Is it true for Ibiza Cupra?
I saw the manual with the Audi TT 225 dump valve replacement, the Forge installation is really simple with no additional modification needed.
Hello,
I fitted the Forge DV-006 and no modifications were needed.

No modifications are needed, these were designed for the Audi engine, so all pipes fitting etc are matched to the OEM model it replaces.
