The Hurricane

Hi guys,

I'm picking my Hurricane system today at the post office.
So I wanted to ask if any of you have it on your Leons,
and how easy it was to install or not. I've heard from Ibiza
owners that it took them less than an hour, but the place where
I bought it told me that it ain't easy if you don't lift up
the car in a carage or something.
So any tips and tricks or advice is greatly appreciated.

I fitted mine this morning, started and then realised i could not find my 10 mm socket, so could not undo the bottom retaining bolt on the original airbox :frown: .Check u got ya equipment before u start.

Had to wait till halfords opened so i could get another, brother run me down in his civic type R, which grabbed some attention in the halfords carpark :D

anyway once the airbox was off, it was easy to put on, i did not even bother removing the battery, managed to slip the air intake pipe down between the wing and the battery.I would say u need to get the car up on ramps to align the air intake pipe correctly, i got it near to how i want it, but need to get a cable tie on it, do that when the exhaust is sorted, its not going anywhere (tight fit).

I would suppose the leons got more room in the engine bay than the ibiza, so u may find it easier.
