Hello everyone, i have a 2001 seat cordoba, but it did not come with a cd changer.
The radio cannot be changed since it is combined with the A/C system, it has the button to control a cd changer, but here in my country there is noone that can give me support on that.
I need to know wich type of cd changer does it suppor and if the connections are already prepared somewhere inthe trunk, or does the pannel (Head unit) has to be detached to connect the Changer.
Also if you can help me find an online retailer for it or maybe an mp3 jukebox or cd changer compatible, someone also told me that a blaupunkt changer should be compatible but i haven't found where to connect it.

Hello M8. There are loads of threads on CD changers which are compatible (by using special "adaptors"). If you use the search function in this forum and the Leon forum, you will get loads of info.

I fitted a Sony T69 (6 changer) using the Connects2 adaptor, and it works a treat. I may be selling this set-up very soon, so after reading all the info in previous threads, if you are interested.... let me know.

ok, but what about that special connector, does the head unit has to be taken off? is there a connection somewhere in the back of the car (the trunk maybe??)

M8, i can't find the CD changer cable anywhere in the boot, can someone please help me out with it, i've looked everywhere in the boot and in the back seat passenger's trim.

Missed the bit about you having a Cordoba... so I am not sure where the changer cable is situated. You shouldn't need to get behind the head unit to locate the changer cable as it will already be located somewhere int he car!. An Ibiza has it in the boot (under the carpet on the left hand side) so maybe that is where the Cordoba one is located.
