I am seriously considering buying a strut brace, does it make a huge difference to the
Cupra R handling?

Also my car is booked in for a Jabba mapping would it be advisable to get the clutch
uprated + better pads and brake fluid?

Can you tell me what tyres are the best? I am currently running PZero's which will go to
the bid tyer dump in the sky next week. Any suggestions? I have been advised that
Bridgestone SO2 tyres are as good as it get's without going to 17" rims.

Thanks

Yes the strut brace will make it feel tighter at the front - cheapest handling mod you can do - and if you plan on lowering it in the future - it helps then even more

Clutch - depends on how you want the chip mapped - search on the forums for that (boost spike)

changing the fluid to Fot 5.1 & the pads to say Pagid will make a heck of a difference (it'd be dangerous to not do the brakes if it's chipped)

Thanks Mark, the brakes are a good idea, anything on the tyres?

Goodyear F1's are what people are raving about - 205's on 16's or 17's - the contact patch will be a little bigger due to the increased radius - but you'll tramline more (horses for courses) - and a slight increase in gearing.

I wear them out too quick to be too fussy on tyres - but I personally found Toyo T1-S good in the wet & terrible in the dry (understeer city)

~If you already have the Ibiza Cupra-R then you have Brembo 4-pots.

I have just retro-fitted these to my chipped 20VT Ibiza and they are the dogs danglies. They will cope perfectly with your planned chip upgrade.
