Hi guys

A few questions on the Koni Sport suspension kit for the Ibiza Mk4.

1) How much, after SCN discount and VAT ?
2) How much does it drop an 03 Ibiza TDI Sport by ?
3) Is it the same kit for the whole Mk4 range or are there seperate kits for the TDIs (which are heavier at the front?)

Cheers !

IIRC from a previous thread Awesome don't offer discounts these days so including VAT it would be £364. I think the kit will lower the car by aprox 35mm according to the Koni Sport website and they also have different axle loads http://www.koni.com/konisport/

Thats 10% on APR only, not Koni. We are the cheapest in the UK for Koni anyway :)

do you sell individual shocks?

I have a font koni that won't ajust and the Koni UK distributor said send it back to we take a look. I said its on the car - you send me another shock and then you can have it for a look. Needless to say the buggers didn't play ball.

That was my next question - do you sell the Koni Sport shocks themselves (not the full kit) ?

If so, how much for fronts and rears on my 03 Ibiza TDI Sport ?
I believe the part numbers are:
"8710-1404Sport" for fronts
and
"80-2830Sport" for rears.

Thanks in advance...

We sell the full kits for such a cheap price that you would almost spend the same money on buying the shocks seperately.

Yes but then if you sold the shocks seperately they'd be even cheaper :)
(I can buy the 4 shocks separately elsewhere cheaper than your kit price.)

Shall I take that as a no then ?

The shocks on their own would cost £420+VAT, thats why its cheaper to buy the full kit.

what about warranty on the Koni shocks ?

Koni shocks on their own are a 3 year warranty. The full kits have a limited life time warranty (i.e as long as you own the vehicle).

I have the Koni Sport kit (shocks & springs) - I can't recommend it enough for my mk4 1.8T, ride is so much better and now it handles.

Cant get better recommendations than that :) thanks frboyz

If anyones wondering I didn't purchase it from Awesome either! - wish i had though as they are cheaper doh!

Best mate has a Golf 1.8T with Koni & Eibachs (renowned as an excellent compromise between ride & handling) my ride is smoother than his - its more like a beemer it feels really well sorted with little roll. As for setup I have the rear shox on softest with the front struts on a full turn firm (ie a third of the adjustment range).

This makes the steering feel better, less roll, the softer rear end keeps it gripping without feeling nervous, its adjustable but more predictable than standard which could step out quite easily I found, do it and enjoy!!!!
