A friend of mine is thinking about a new 1.8 VT Alhambra. Any suggestions / precautions he should take in mind?

Check the front discs for scoring from new and get them replaced under warranty before the dealer can say it's fair wear and tear.

I assume Greek Alhambras come with smoked-glass rear windows as standard as the interiors get hot in the sun.
