Not sure if this is the right place for this post but...... having seen the pics from the Trax Day there is a silver beezer with body coloured bumper inserts, any ideas where you can get them ???
Cheers

My local garage quoted me about £190 they have to order replacement bumpers inserts as they have to break the clips to get them off but are not that expensive to buy. Poss cheaper to buy inserts and ask about, the garage that gave me the quote were listers. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Thanks for the replies guys, I will ask around and see what deals I can get. £190 is not cheap, but they do look the pups nuts http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif

Graham you will soon be getting a call from myself at that price job done. I went into my local Seat today and it's only about £35 for both bumper inserts.

Regards
Duncan.

Graham

Thaks for the reply http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif , thats an excellent price, and I will definitely be taking you up on it.

Couple of questions, if the bumper inserts are ony £35 for the pair, I could just get you to spray a new set, how difficult are they to replace ??? Im assuming as you offered to spray the original ones, that they can be taken off / put back on again.

Also, how well will the paint key to the plastic ?? I dont want them to be prone to stone chipping ( well no more than the rest of the car )

How long will you need the car in for if I have the original ones sprayed ? and could you fit a strut brace and Xenon bulbs at the same time ???

Sorry for all the questions and many thanks again.

We would paint the origional ones without removing from vehicle as thay are a nightmare to remove and refit.

The job would take about 3 hours.

A paint with plasticiser in it is used to stop peeling and chipping.
