Colour coded bumpers

I wonder if any one can help.....

I have just aquired a 1995 ibiza which is fitted with the black plastic (skinny) type bumpers. I would like to fit the 1996/7 Full colour coded deep bumpers. Is this possible ??

I have been told that due to the design of the 1995 front wings, I can only fit an early GTI front bumper which will cover the front valance. The 1996/7 front wings are different. I have also been told that I can fit any of the rear bumpers and that I will also need matching plastic inner-wing inserts.

Is this correct ?? Is there anything else I need to Know...

Hi mate ive fitted both bumpers to my 95 m reg ibiza. Werent too hard either and they look good! For the front just cut about 2 inch off the wings and remove the front lower panel! Ive used the old linings and just cut them down slightly! The rear bumber needed minor trimming but fits fine! You will have to modify the exhaust mount as the bumper will cover the exhaust.
