Is the standard Seat immobiliser fitted to the Ibiza 20V T good enough for insurance approval? Does it have a Thatcham rating/reference number or do I need to add an aftermarket Thatcham approved immobiliser on top?
Picking my new "210'd" Cupra up from Amethyst next week http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif and I might ask them to arrange someone to fit an additional immobiliser if the standard doesn't satisfy the insurer.

I'm picking up my Ibiza 210 from Amethyst next week too! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
Yes, Amethyst say that the Imob is Thatcham Cat 2 and gave me the approval code (Which was either the number above or very similar).
My insurance on the car is £820 fully comp with 3 points, one additional driver (I'm 25). The insurance company is Adrian Flux if your interested.
What colour car have you bought?
Might see you at Amethyst next week...

£894 with protected no claims bonus from Adrian Flux. I'm 30, full no claims and Surrey postcode (area can make a huge difference) Its under £900 thats the main thing.
Mines in Flash red, seems theres a few 210s being prepared next week. I'm picking mine up on Saturday so see you up there if its the same day.
The 210 is the car the Cupra R could have been, at the price it should have been http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif

Yeah I'm planning on picking mine up on saturday too, unless I can't wait in which case I'll have to take a day off work and pick it up. I think they said that they have 4 cars being prepared over this weekend... RSD are coming down to Amethyst rather than Amethyst driving all 4 cars upto them!
I've got full No Claims Bonus but I'm not sure if its protected... Adrian Flux never asked me if I wanted it protected. I better give them a ring.
Thanks
Ben
PS. Mines the Yellow one (Not very original eh?)

Presumably diamondbrite is some paintwork protective coating (and not a song by Glen Hoddle) - does it reduce the likelihood of stone chip damage?
