Hi

I read this topic on vwvortex forum, and it seems that this valve could cause problem in my engine :confused:
I copy my post from vw vortex maybe some of you could help me or could give me some advice;

I also observed that surging problem in my chiped car (MTM) occurs between 2000 and 5000 and on 1/2 and 3/4, when I drive with full throttle problem disappears, but I am sure that car goes with less power
I think that my engin code is AWD (Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8 Turbo year 2000), but I am not sure and I observed that nobody with AWD report surging problem.

I changed original DV into Forge DV006 (170 USD) two times already, now I have audi tt 225HP DV valve (20 USD- any difference comparing to Forge) but problem still exist.
But most strange thing I observed is that problem disappears (car accelerate with full power, no problem with 1/2 and 1/4 trottle, or 80 km/h on 5 gear) when I drove on highway distance about 700 km (it was cold, temp.about 15 degrees - I' ve got cold air intake- K&N filter right under bonnet vent) very slow about 120 km/h and unexpectedly on 520 km car started to drive without problem (I push my car to the limit several times -about 80 kilometers and nothing happens untill next morning when I heavy accelerate a few times (from 1 gear and the outside temperature was about 21).
Some idea why????

Mayby it cause that N75 valve ( I have never adjusted it) suppose it is broken but it is posssible that this valve could work fine after slow driving and long disstance?

Second idea mayby engine becomes to hot air and it switch ECU to fault code? but is it possible that slow driving and long distance could solve this problem :helpp:

first, try to unplug your MAF sensor and see if the car runs better. if not, plug it back. secondly, if you have k&n without any heat shield it sucks quite hot air, not good either. my maf sensor failed when i had k&n and didn't run so well.

Ye, maybe it is that shity MAF sensor, I am going to switch it for new one for one day if I will have such possibility, if not I will disconnect sensor right after surging problem. Thanks for advise :cheers:
