Can someone tell me which organisation offers the most effective and reliable remap service for my car.

As I understand it Jabba would like circa £250 to give me 210-220 bhp
and SD want £750+ for the Oetinger chip to give me 215bhp.

What is the difference and will the standard clutch take it?:wiz:

Jabba is £330 inc vat fitted to give approx 210 BHP, the RSD Oettinger chip only produces 195BHP without extras for about£750 +vat. APR are recomended by a few again giving around 195BHP for approx £600 +vat but I'm not sure what you get with that as they do have some nice extras. APRs web site has a comprehensive list.

I would recomend Jabbasport as they get good results, have excellent service and obviously local to us.

RSD (Oettinger) are the only company I know that included a warantee to match the manufacturers. Although I have never had to use it it states (roughly) that any problem with the car that can be attributed to the chip will be covered if the dealer cannot cover it in the standard warantee.

I have had some problems recently with my car and even though it was chipped over 7 months ago they spent a whole Sat for free investigating and are continuing to try and help.

At the end of the day you pays your money...However, why spend $$$ on a new car and then put it at risk by chipping it for the sake of a few $$ more?
