Hi all

i am looking into car cleaning products for washing/polishing/waxing.

The car is in tinta black on previous cars i have just used mer polish/wax and thats it. but reading searching the forums i see you use other products

what i glean is i need to

every week/fornight

wash car with shampoo eg p21s boby shampoo/ps21s auto wask/poorboys/zymol
then wax with p21s/zymol or a top up spary(wax every month)

twice a year
between the wash and wax use a paintwork cleaner zymol/p21s/klass-all-in-one

What products do you use for door seals/rubber, bugs and tar, i guess you do this after the wash before the wax

and if the paint work is rough use clay and lub before paint cleaner or is this the same as cleaner

is this ok

Looks sensible to me. For rubber and trims I use Poorboys Natural Look Dressing or 303 Protectant. I find that bugs and tar come off easily once you have established a good layering of products (e.g Klasse AIO, P21S CW), so I don't bother with bug and tar removers (they strip off the wax anyway, making more work - just rub firmly with your wash mitt - they'll shift if you persist!). :)
